To enable infrared to penetrate tissues as deep as possible, we recommend wearing as little as possible. We offer towel wraps to be worn during your session.
Wait at least 1-2 hours after eating before beginning an infrared sauna session. Hydrate with a minimum of 8 ounces of water to prepare for an increase in core body temperature.
Please try to arrive 10 minutes before your session in order to find parking and get checked in. If you arrive more than 5 minutes after your reserved time, your session time may be shortened to accommodate following appointments.
If this is your first session, please let the front desk know, and they will give you a tour of the recovery room and the sauna.
We do not suggest bringing any personal items into the sauna with you. Just as you would not leave your cell phone in your car on a hot day, we do not recommend taking cells phones, Apple watches, or other electronics in the sauna. The electronics that are built into the sauna are designed for a heated environment, and include streaming services for entertainment during your session.
Food and drinks are not permitted inside of the sauna.
When using the sauna, please use a towel to sit upon or wrap yourself in. If using a backrest, please lay a towel over it. Be sure to never cover holes or floor grate with towels, mats, garments, etc.
Please start your session in a timely manner. We provide some buffer time before and after your session, but time is still needed to sanitize the room before the next appointment begins.
Sweat levels are different for everyone. Don't be surprised if you don't sweat during the first few sessions. Sweating will increase with regular use. Even if your body is not drenched in sweat, your body is still detoxifying from harmful toxins. Also, be sure to drink plenty of water before your session. If you are dehydrated, you will not sweat as much.
Listen to your body and adjust based on what it’s telling you. If you feel flu-like symptoms, discontinue and let our staff know.
Rehydrate with 8 to 24 oz. of water or electrolyte drink to replenish fluids. You can dry off with a towel, then cool down naturally.
If you're using your sauna session as a warm-up to your workout, please give yourself time to dry, dress and enter class on time.
You can cancel your appointment with no charge up to 12 hours before the start of session. If you cancel less than 12 hours before (late cancel), or do not show, you will lose your credit.
